JOB TITLE: Maintenance II

JOB SUMMARY:
Performs a variety of grounds keeping duties at our various locations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Cuts lawn, using power mower.

Trims and edges around walks, flower beds and walls, using clippers, weed cutters, and edging tools.

Prunes shrubs to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, using shears or pruners.

Waters lawn and shrubs, using hose or by activating fixed sprinkler system.

Cleans grounds and removes litter, using spiked stick or broom.

Shovels snow from walks and driveways. Spreads salt to prevent ice buildup.

Replaces light bulbs.

Sets up table and chairs for meetings.

Reviews and is familiar with Company safety policies, programs and procedures. Adheres to all safety rules, regulations and safety codes, and attends safety training sessions and safety meetings.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Previous on-the-job training in grounds keeping is preferred.

OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 21 years of age.

Must have a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License, with a good driving record.

Must be eligible for positive outcome on required State of Oklahoma criminal conviction background check.

Must maintain appropriate requirements for legal vehicle operation including current automobile insurance, inspection and license plates.

Must wear steel-toed boots/shoes and long pants.

Must pass drug test.
