JOB SUMMARY
Visually and manually tests electronics and determines salability of donated merchandise.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Visually and manually tests electronics.
- Determines salability of merchandise.
- Places salable items in shipping cart to make store orders.
- Places carts for shipment in appropriate shipping area.
- Routes non-saleable merchandise to Auction.
- Prepares daily shipping vouchers.
- Prepares weekly shipping report.
- Responsible for general housekeeping in work area.
- Reviews and is familiar with Company safety policies, programs and procedures. Adheres to all safety rules, regulations and safety codes, and attends safety training sessions and safety meetings.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
On-the-job training is over a period up to and including three (3) months.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Balancing, talking, hearing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, seeing
Lifting/Carrying: Medium Work - Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Pushing/Pulling: Heavy work--Pushing/Pulling 100 lbs. maximum with frequent pushing/pulling of objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
