About Us

Goodwill Industries is a network of over 200 community-based, autonomous member organizations worldwide that serves people with workplace disadvantages and disabilities by providing job training and employment services. Direction for each agency is provided by a local Board of Directors, which is comprised of volunteers from the community, with programs designed by professional staff members to meet the needs of both the individuals receiving services and the community. In addition, Goodwill has been a member of the United Way since 1977; and, prior to that, a member of the Community Chest.

  - Placed 337 individuals in jobs in the community
  - More than 331,000 community members donated clothing and household items to Goodwill
  - Over 720,000 customers shopped in Goodwill's stores

Economic Impact
  - Paid wages and benefits of $9.6 million to Goodwill employees
  - Total donated goods sales over $10 million, representing millions of dollars in savings to our customers and more than $785,000 in sales tax revenue
  - More than $2.3 million in wages earned by individuals placed in jobs in the community through Goodwill's Workforce Development programs
  - Over 18 million pounds of goods received, providing an environmentally favorable way to recycle clothing and household items
  - Over 400,000 pounds of used computer equipment was recycled through the Dell Reconnect Partnership
  - More than $51,600 contributed in support of Tulsa Area United Way by Goodwill
