Community Vocational Services
Supported Employment - services provide independent, competitive employment for individuals with severe disabilities for whom competitive employment has not traditionally occurred. An employment consultant assists the individual in job development, provides on the job training and support, and on-going support and reinforcement of job skills.
Employment and Retention - prepares an individual for employment with development of job search skills, job development, short term support if needed, and work adjustment counseling once employed.
Community-Based Enclaves - work groups in businesses that have been established for individuals who need continuous job coach intervention.
Transitional Work Adjustment Training - a program designed for students in their last year of high school to prepare them for entering the workforce upon graduation and allow them to gain paid work experience. Topics in this program include money management, appropriate work behaviors, basic life skills and safety awareness. 4 Locations: 2800 Southwest Blvd., Broken Arrow Training Center - 2210 W. Washington, Garnett Training Center - 102 S. Garnett Rd., and Goodwill East Campus - 10101 E. Admiral Place.
