  • January 19 - Edgar J. Helms Birthday. Born in 1863, Helms founded Goodwill Industries in 1902.   
  • February 12 - Quarterly Sale. One day only. All clothing, women's, men's & childen's) 1/2 OFF. Something for the entire family at a fraction of department store prices. Check our monthly for daily in-store specials!!!
  • Spring & Summer Cleaning! It's that time of year to clean out those overstuffed closets, garages and attics. Goodwill Industries can turn your salable discards into jobs. Your donations of clothing and household items are sold in Goodwill stores to provide job training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities and other special needs.   • Corporate Clothing Drives - April 1 - 30  "Bag It Up For Goodwill".  An opportunity for corporations to schedule a clothing drive with Goodwill. Employees clean out their closets and storage areas at home and conveniently take their donations of usable clothing and small household items to work for Goodwill to pick up. 
  • April 1 - 30 Community Spirit Days. To help people in need by collecting items to donate to local charities. When you donate to Goodwill, you help people start new lives of independence by discovering the Power of Work.
  • Earth Day - April 21. Recycle those items that are no longer needed. Goodwill accepts donations of salable clothing and household items and sells them in our Goodwill stores. The revenue generated helps to support job training programs and employment opportunities for people with disabilities and other special needs.
  • May 1 - 7 Goodwill Industries Week. Focus on Goodwill's mission in the community to improve the quality of life of individuals with disabilities and other special needs by providing employment, job training and integrated community living opportunities.
  • May 3 - Goodwill's Annual Awards Luncheon. Highlights Goodwill employees and business partners and event sponsors. 
  • May 7- Quarterly Sale. One day only. All clothing, (women's, men's & children's) 1/2 OFF. Something for the entire family at a fraction of department store prices. Check our monthly for daily in-store specials!!! 
  • July 26 Americans with Disabilities Act - 12th Anniversary. Signed into law in 1990.
  • July 23 - Quarterly Sale. One day only ... All clothing, (women's, men's & children's) 1/2 OFF. Something for the whole family. Stock up for Back-To-School.
  • September 11 - 17 National Rehabilitation Awareness Celebration. To celebrate the accomplishments of people with disabilities and the professionals who work with them.
  • October 1 - 31 National Disability Employment Awareness Month. To encourage the full integration of people with disabilities into the workforce.
  • October 23 - Make A Difference Day. National Day of community service. An opportunity to donate to Goodwill Industries usable clothing and small household items. Support your community by supporting Goodwill.
  • December 3 - Quarterly Sale. One day only ... All Clothing, (women's, men's & children's) 1/2 OFF.  Something for the whole family. Quality shopping at incredible savings!!!
  • December 1-31. End of Year Clean Out. Last chance for another 2010 tax deduction. Clean out those bulging closets, overflowing garages, crammed basements & attics. Goodwill Industries can turn your salable discards into jobs. Your donations of clothing and household items are sold in Goodwill stores to provide job training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities and other special needs. Future:

Goodwill Industries of Tulsa will continue to assess and serve the needs of our community. With the continued support of our volunteers, donors, business partners and shoppers Goodwill Industries of Tulsa will continue to have a positive impact on our community. An example of how we are constantly re-evaluating our programs are the expansion of our job training programs to include individuals transitioning from Welfare-to-Work.
