Goodwill Industries of Tulsa received the Donated Goods Retail Mission Integration Award for 2016 performance at the 2017 Goodwill Industries International (GII) Summer Conference in Charlotte, NC.

The award “recognizes organizations that most demonstrate positive donated goods retail growth and demonstrate commitment to integrating mission into its DGR operations.”

Specifically, the GII award recognized Goodwill Tulsa’s commitment to using its donated goods and retail programs as training and employment for clients and supported workers, and for having financial wellness integrated into its services for clients and employees.

Goodwill Tulsa Named A Family Financial Wellness Center of Excellence


Goodwill McAlester Receives 2016 Best of McAlester Award 



Goodwill Tulsa earned Best of the Best and Caring Company Awards for its support of the Tulsa Area United Way 2015 Campaign. TAUW presented the awards at the annual Live United Awards and Luncheon on February 16.

Caring Companies
conduct an employee fundraising campaign, host at least one educational session, provide members of the Women's Leadership Council and Emerging Leaders Society, coordinate at least one community service project, and participate in the Day of Caring. 
Best of the Best Award goes to organizations with a campaign increase of at least 5%, employee participation of 75% or more, and employee per capita giving of $250 or more. (Tulsa Area United Way Annual Report 2015)



Goodwill® Named Disability Nonprofit Brand of the Year
 in 2015 Harris Poll Equitrend® Study



Sustainable Tulsa and the Tulsa Southside Rotary Club named Goodwill the 2014 winner of The Henry Bellmon Sustainability Award for excellent sustainable leadership on October 9, 2014. “Goodwill Industries of Tulsa is a superb example of sustainability, balancing the three p's — people, profit and planet — by investing in our community through job training and job creation, and supporting their training center by recycling used items back into the community,” said Corey Williams, Executive Director of Sustainable Tulsa. “Goodwill Industries of Tulsa is a great model of sustainability, by making a profit that also protects our environment and increases quality of life of thousands in our community.” Full story on our blog
